Quando Rondo has a new round of legal drama to contend with — this time, courtesy of the FBI.
WJCL News in Savannah, Georgia, was the first to report that the rapper (real name Tyquian Terrel Bowman) was taken into federal custody “without incident” by Savannah Police on Friday (December 8).
The outlet also spoke to the “Want Me Dead” rapper’s aunt, who said that her nephew “hasn’t been the same” since his initial arrest. The FBI refused to give further details about what, exactly, he’s being charged with — but would solely confirm that he’d been arrested on “drug charges.”
Quando Rondo is currently incarcerated at a federal facility in Brunswick, Georgia, where he remains without bail. Check out the report below.

This latest arrest has only compounded Quando Rondo’s latest spate of legal bad luck.
Back in September, Chatham County prosecutors filed a motion to change his bond conditions to ban him from his hometown due to his tendency to attract violence.
The bond modification request reads: “The defendant shall not enter the confines of Chatham County without permission of the court except for court appearances, meetings with defense counsel, and medical treatment.”
The Never Broke Again artist has been the target of multiple shootings, the most recent of which took place on September 20. Before that, a friend of his was killed during another shootout during which he was also present..
Up until his arrest by the FBI, Quando Rondo had remained a free man after a judge ruled that his bond didn’t need to be revoked earlier this year. The Savannah rapper appeared in court in late July to answer for charges stemming from a car wreck he was involved in.

Though the state attorney requested that his bond be revoked, thus sending him back to jail, Judge Tammy Stokes denied the motion. She also denied the state’s request to have the “Want Me Dead” rapper fitted with an ankle monitor, which would keep track of his movements for as long as he’s free.
Quando Rondo didn’t get a free pass for his actions, though. Prosecutors are still mulling over additional charges stemming from the accident, and the judge revoked all of Quando’s driving privileges. He must also undergo periodic random drug testing, and if he fails to comply or otherwise fails a drug test, he could have his bond revoked.
“You are a young man with a career in front of you,” Stokes said to Rondo at the hearing. “All sorts of opportunities. But the bottom line is that it’s all on you.”
Quando Rondo crashed his car in early July in Chatham County, Georgia. When the first responders got to the scene, they found Quando “exhibiting signs of an overdose,” prompting them to administer Narcan to save his life.
As part of his previously issued bond terms, however, Quando Rondo was ordered to refrain from using illicit drugs. However, although having an overdose indicates he may have violated those terms, Judge Bowman decided to give him another chance.
