RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga throws shade at Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider’s new friendship, plus discusses filming with Tre amid feud.
Melissa Gorga recently opened up to In Touch about what it was like filming season 14 of RHONJ with Teresa Giudice amid their ongoing feud.
“It’s not an easy navigation. Never was,” Melissa said about working with Teresa despite the sisters-in-law not being on speaking terms. “I feel like it always just finds me the drama on this show.”
Despite always being in the middle of the drama, the 44-year-old said she continues to “stay true” to herself.
“I always have. And I call a spade a spade, and if I see bulls–t, I call bulls–t,” the RHONJ star added. “And that’s how you do Housewives.”
Melissa also confirmed that she and Teresa “are not friends” at the moment and have zero plans to see each other over the holiday season.
“We’re not friends. It is what it is right now. More of the same,” Melissa recently told Extra.
Speaking of Teresa, Melissa also opened up about season 14 of RHONJ and how the two navigated filming an entire season together without talking to each other.
“I mean, the next season’s actually really, really good. It’s it’s a great season. It’s very different. I think you guys are all gonna be in shock over how we’re able to conduct a whole entire season without speaking to each other. I think that’s pretty significant in itself,” Melissa explained.
When asked about Teresa’s newfound friendship with Jackie Goldschneider, Melissa quipped:
“I think it’s very convenient for everyone, and god bless.”
As RHONJ fans know, Jackie fell out with Melissa and her other former bestie, Margaret Josephs, while filming season 14.
Throughout filming season 14 of RHONJ, Jackie became close with former enemies Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin. Oddly enough, Jackie’s up-and-down relationships with Teresa and Jennifer blossomed into genuine friendships.
In recent weeks, Margaret and Melissa have shaded Jackie’s budding friendship with Teresa.
At BravoCon, Melissa and Margaret weighed in on Jackie and Teresa’s new-found friendship.
“Jackie and I are not where we used to be in life; we’re not where we used to be, which is sad,” Margaret Josephs said during part one of the RHONJ panel at BravoCon.
“She informed me that we were not as close as we used to be. I think I took offense to that, and things went a little south,” she continued. “She has a nice case of amnesia.”
Meanwhile, the mom of three believes Jackie created drama with Margaret for attention and more screen time throughout season 14 of RHONJ.
“I think that sometimes people feel like they need to ruffle feathers to make a splash — and it’s unfortunate,” the On Display podcast host said.
“You need to stay authentic to your true self, and I think she’s looking for rumblings, trying to throw things out there and seeing if they stick,” she continued. “And God bless.”
