A few new titles will grace Netflix next year. Following the announcement of some Disney-owned shows streaming on the platform soon, Netflix subscribers have a stacked list of films and television shows to look forward to in 2024. This includes the Jason Momoa-led Aquaman, the John Wick trilogy, and two Mamma Mia! films, among others.

Films and shows coming to Netflix in 2024

On January 1, 2024 the 1982 musical film Annie will begin streaming on Netflix alongside How to Train Your Dragon, Aquaman, Beethoven, Gravity, John Wick Chapters 1 to 3, Jurassic Park I to III, Loudermilk Season 1 to 3, Mamma Mia! 1 and 2, Meet the Parents 1 to 3, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Peppa Pig Season 3 to 6, The Purge 3 and 4, The Wonder Years Season 1 and 2, and Training Day.

Fool Me Once will be kicking off the year 2024, followed by The Brothers Sun, Gyeongseong Creature: Part 2, the streamer’s new reality show The Trust: A Game of Greed, Boy Swallows Universe, Champion, Love on the Spectrum U.S. Season 2, the upcoming eighth season of Queer Eye, the Sofia Vergara-led Griselda, and Masters of the Universe: Revolution.

Some anime titles also joined the streamer’s 2024 lineup, including maboroshi and The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse: Part 1. Moreover, the Disney-owned titles also coming to Netflix on a non-exclusive basis are The Wonder Years, This is Us, My Wife & Kids, ESPN 30 for 30, The Resident, White Collar, Reba, Archer, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Prison Break, The Hughleys, Bernie Mac, and Home Improvement.

Of course, although some of the mentioned films and television shows are arguably highly anticipated, the upcoming arrival of some of the big titles like Aquaman and the three John Wick films marks an exciting 2024 for the streamer.

“Amphibious superhero Arthur Curry learns what it means to be Aquaman when he must stop the king of Atlantis from waging war against the surface world,” the synopsis for Aquaman reads. The DCEU feature stars Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman.

On the other hand, the John Wick trilogy — with the fourth chapter having premiered in theaters back in March — follows the titular assassin (Keanu Reeves) as he embarks on a vengeance-fueled journey after his retirement. The franchise features the names of Michael Nyqvist, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, and the late Lance Reddick.
