Quavo has shown versatility with artistry throughout his career but he might be taking that wide-ranging ability to another level.

Huncho appears to be channeling his inner-André 3000 as the Migos rapper purchased a flute while traveling through a market in Asia over the weekend.

Quavo was impressed by the flute player’s ability to the point he was convinced to get one of his own on the trip.

“Can you get me one? I want one. I want a flute,” he said to someone in his crew.

Watch the clip below:

Quavo is no stranger to rapping over flute-driven production after floating on Drake’s More Life standout “Portland” alongside Travis Scott in 2017.

Last month, 3 Stacks caused a stir in Hip Hop with his divisive flute album New Blue Sun, which served as the first solo LP of his career and didn’t contain any bars.

While some like Big Gipp saluted André 3000, others such as The LOX’s Sheek Louch and Styles P urged the OutKast legend to return to his rapping roots.

“He’s one of the greatest to ever do it,” SP said. “He could’ve rapped over the flute beats. Straight up. I think rapping about what is he gonna rap about is a good point-of-view. It gives different people different perspectives.”

As far as his flute playing goes, André 3000 admitted to CBS News that he doesn’t even know which notes he’s exactly playing.

“I’ve gotten so used to it I kinda have a muscle memory of holding [the flute],” he said of carrying his go-to instrument around. “When I’m walking with people that’s what they say, ‘I feel like I’m in my movie.’

“I don’t even know what notes I’m playing so every move for me is new,” he continued. “Which is kinda crazy but it feels great to do it. Because when you find things you’re like, ‘Oh!’”

André 3000 continued to credit Hip Hop for his passion for discovering new sounds: “It’s like a reward for searching. I think that’s a Hip Hop thing, to be honest. Because Hip Hop you immediately take something in and put it back out.”
