Margaret Josephs suggested Jackie Goldschneider is not who she “thought” she was, and she shared where she stands with frenemy Teresa Giudice. The 56-year-old also revealed that she and Jennifer Aydin are in a “better place.”
In each Real Housewives franchise, there’s seemingly one castmate who controls the narrative, painting her enemies in the worst light while secretly plotting their destruction. If Margaret fills this role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, her next victim may be Jackie – who dared to challenge Margaret about a recent book deal.
“There’s a lot of shift in relationships [this season], which is a little odd to me,” said Margaret in an interview with Extra amid her feud with Jackie. “I think that happens in friendships.”
“Some people who I thought were my friends just really aren’t,” she insisted. “[They’re] not the people I thought they were, and I think everybody knows who that is.”
The reporter then asked if she was referring to Jackie.
“I mean, I don’t need to say any names but I think you know who I’m talking about,” answered Margaret, smiling and nodding her head.
She also addressed where she stands with Teresa, who she feuded with last season.
“I don’t have a bond with Teresa anymore, at all,” said Margaret. “I think, you know, we did when I first met her. I think she didn’t understand who I was … Some lines were crossed and … I don’t really want anything to do with her.”
Though Margaret and Teresa’s “paths are not meant to be together,” she claimed the “new dynamics” this season are “great.”
“Jennifer Aydin and I are in a better place,” Margaret explained, “which is nice to see. You know there are some really good times, and I think people are tired of the old fighting, and no one has to see that anymore really.”
“The changes and the shifts are fun to watch.”
