Wyclef Jean has impressed Hip Hop pioneer and venerated MC Big Daddy Kane with his numerical freestyle.
In a clip which went live on URL TV on Friday (December 15), the Fugees rapper is seen spitting 16 to the Juice Crew founding member during a Hip Hop 50 celebration.
The legends clearly were impressed with one another, as Clef did his part for both the lyrical and the numerical word play.

Back in September, Wyclef and his Fugees cohorts reunited during Ms. Lauryn Hill’s performance at the Global Citizens Festival, which aims to bring awareness to food insecurities.

The Fugees will continue to perform together throughout the year as Hill continues on the tour supporting the 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
As for Kane, he was recently wowed by a Lady London freestyle last month.

On November 10, Kane took to Instagram, where he re-posted a video clip of the rap newcomer doing her thing on the mic as part of Red Bull’s 60-Second Freestyle series.
“Say it with my chest, ’cause I’m the best to ever do it/ And my wrist is like the wettest, so it’s best to call me fluid/ You know God has just been blessing me with every opportunity/ I look into the crowd and can’t ignore that I influence it/ I see patterns — no, I see past ’em/ Like Saturn, I got all of these rings that I back slap ’em, whack, whack ’em/ And now all of these rappers is backtracking, backpacking/ I have carried the game in my knapsack,” Lady raps.
