As we’ve previously reported, Kodak Black, born Bill Kapri, was recently arrested for possession of an illegal substance and tampering with physical evidence on December 7. At the time, the Broward County rapper was pulled over in Plantation, Florida during a traffic stop. Police found Kodak’s Bentley SUV parked in a roadway with the engine still running.
When officers approached the rapper’s luxury vehicle, they noticed he was asleep behind the wheel. After opening the door of the SUV, police turned the car off, and then noticed a strong odor of alcohol and burnt marijuana. They then found marijuana wrapping paper and residue near the center console.
Things continued to get worse when police alleged that they saw a white powder falling from the rapper’s mouth. According to the police report, officers noticed his mouth was “full of white powder,” alleging he had attempted to swallow cocaine.

However, when police noticed a white rock-like substance near the rapper, they said he claimed it was Percocet. But when the substance was tested, along with a white plastic bag in the rapper’s pocket, officials confirmed it was cocaine. Subsequently, Kodak Black was charged with cocaine possession, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and improper stop, stand, or park.
After the rapper bonded out that night, some time later he took to his social media to open up about his drug abuse. During his stream, he denied using cocaine after his latest drug arrest but admitted to previously using meth (Methamphetamine), smoking weed (Cannabis), taking Percocets, and drinking lean (Promethazine).
