#Socialites can you say the same? Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove, 30, reveals that she has never smoked marijuana nor been drunk in her entire life. She claims she “doesn’t know why,” but she’s never indulged.

Cosgrove — who is most notable for her Nickelodeon roles as “Megan Parker” on ‘Drake & Josh,’ and “Carly Shay” on ‘iCarly‘ — recently sat down with her former ‘Drake & Josh‘ co-star Josh Peck, 37, on his podcast, ‘Good Guys,’ which he co-hosts with social media personality Ben Soffer, 31.
During the episode, Peck asks his fellow Nickelodeon star if she was too young or not to remember the concept of restaurants making areas for customers who smoke. She said she didn’t know that smoking in restaurants was once a thing. Peck then questions his co-host Soffer and he says he “vaguely” remembers, especially since his mom was “so sensitive about any restaurants allowing smoking.”

The trio then talks about how in the present day there a smoking sections at Disneyland, hotels, etc. Peck then transitions and says, “Speaking of smoking, and this is going to bring me to a line of questioning that I hate, but I know that people are going to want to hear, but I don’t want to hear because I’m like your older brother.”
Peck flat out asks, “Have you ever done anything bad? Like, do you drink? Do you do any of that?” Cosgrove admits, “I’ve never been drunk in my entire life. Crazy.” Peck asks why and Cosgrove plainly responds, “I don’t know,” causing them both to laugh. Cosgrove then adds, “I’m open to it.”

Peck offers, “Someone get this girl sh*t-housed, would ya? I mean, this poor girl has never experienced being drunk.” Cosgrove interjects and notes, “I truly don’t have a good reason. I’ve never even been buzzed. I’ve sipped things before but like two sips.” Peck adds, “You’re so pure. You’re so good,” and Cosgrove laughs.
While the Nickelodeon star tries to wrack her brain and share a good story about “the craziest thing she’s ever done,” Peck interjects, with his eyes closed tight and hands up, “You don’t have to tell me. We don’t even have to know. I don’t want to know.”

Soffer then chimes in and says, “I assume then that like weed is also off the table? You’ve never smoked anything or you have?” Cosgrove admits, “No, I’ve never smoked anything. I had an edible, like an edible brownie, and I fell asleep for like 17 hours. I woke up super rested.”
As Peck notes that Cosgrove is friends with big-named stars and has had the opportunities to get drunk or get high, he specifically asks, “So, is there sort of a limiting part of you? Is there a part of you that doesn’t allow yourself to…,” she finishes, “Go for it? Maybe on some level. But I think it started off because I was always the designated driver when I went out with my friends, and I sort of liked taking on that role, and got used to it, and just kind of stuck with it forever. But yeah, no, I’m open to drinking. I’m still planning on it at some point…even though I’m 30. I should’ve done it on my birthday, my 30th.
