Vin Diesel has joined the growing list of celebrities who have been accused of sexual assault in recent weeks.
The actor and producer is now facing serious allegations of sexual battery in a lawsuit filed by his former assistant, Asta Jonasson. The incident is said to have occurred during the production of the popular movie “Fast 5” in 2010. Jonasson claims that Diesel forcibly groped her, kissed her, and engaged in explicit sexual behavior against her will.
According to legal documents obtained by Variety, Jonasson, who was hired by One Race Films as Vin Diesel’s assistant, claims that the incident took place in Vin’s suite at the St. Regis hotel in Atlanta. While Diesel was entertaining multiple women, Jonasson was tasked with escorting him out of the hotel to avoid photographers. However, instead of cooperating, Diesel allegedly assaulted her.

Jonasson alleges that Diesel forcibly grabbed her, groped her breast, and kissed her against her will. The assault reportedly escalated as Diesel lifted up her dress and attempted to remove her underwear. He then pinned her against the wall, placed her hand on his erect penis, and proceeded to masturbate while leaning against her. Throughout the ordeal, Jonasson says she kept her eyes closed to dissociate from the traumatic experience.
Hours after the alleged assault, Jonasson claims that Samantha Vincent, Diesel’s sister and president of One Race Films, called her and terminated her employment. Jonasson believes that she was fired because she resisted Diesel’s advances during the assault. In her lawsuit, she accuses Vin Diesel, Samantha Vincent, and One Race Films of sexual battery, wrongful termination, and creating a hostile work environment.
Jonasson explains that she remained silent about the incident for a long time due to fear of Diesel’s influence in Hollywood and her immigration status as a green card holder. However, she now feels empowered by the #MeToo movement and the California Speak Out Act, which allows victims to file sexual assault claims for incidents dating back to 2009.
Vin Diesel not his legal team have yet to comment on this latest suit.
