After spending eight years in prison for her involvement in her mother’s murder, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is set to be released next week. Her scheduled release date is December 28.

As Gypsy Rose prepares to re-enter society, she is determined to make the most of her freedom. According to TMZ, she has secured tickets to attend the Kansas City Chiefs football game on December 31, signaling her eagerness to embrace life outside prison walls. She desires to meet Taylor Swift, an artist she idolizes. While she acknowledges that meeting Swift may be a “long shot.”

In case you didn’t know the case of Gypsy Rose, she was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a condition in which her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, fabricated her medical records and subjected her to unnecessary medical treatments. Gypsy Rose endured years of suffering, believing she had numerous medical issues that required medication and invasive procedures. However, in 2015, Dee Dee was found dead from stab wounds, and Gypsy Rose was ultimately convicted of second-degree murder after confessing to encouraging her boyfriend to commit the act.

In addition to her plans to attend the football game and pursue a meeting with Taylor Swift, Gypsy Rose has set her sights on the future. She intends to purchase tickets to the Eras Tour for one of the shows in New Orleans in October 2024. Amid news of her release, social media users expressed that the public should allow Blanchard to live a normal life instead of sensationalizing her mother’s murder and turning her case into a spectacle.

“Real, ppl are saying they want her on The Hot Ones like can we please just let this girl who has never been able to live in peace do that??,” one user wrote. Another said, “She most likely doesn’t want a celebrity adjacent life. she just wants quiet and comfort which isn’t something she’s had her whole life.”

Gypsy rose never got to live a normal life and if people keep treating her this way she never will. Let her freedom from prison be freedom from press which has invaded her privacy her entire life https://t.co/MU0dLz1ceO
