Danielle Cabral has finally shared the results of a tummy tuck she underwent over the summer.
In a video shared on YouTube, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 38, and her husband, Nate Cabral, were seen arriving at the hospital as they took fans inside her pre- and post-op journey.
“After 2 C-sections, healthy dieting, and INSANE workouts, there was nothing left that I could do to get rid of my excess skin,” Danielle explained, along with a sneak peek at the six-minute video on Instagram. “There wasn’t a magical pill (I wish) I could take for it to disappear. It wasn’t going anywhere unless I had the medical procedure known as a ‘tummy tuck.’”
“I would like to emphasize that I put in countless amounts of work, and my body was in the best shape right before I had this procedure. Simply put, there was nothing left to do,” she added of her decision to enlist board-certified plastic surgeon John Paul Tutela, MD to do the procedure.
In Danielle’s YouTube clip, she admitted to having pre-surgery jitters at the hospital and revealed she was “extremely nauseous with the anesthesia.”
She also shared before and after photos.
Following the sharing of her plastic surgery journey, Danielle was met with backlash from her Instagram audience, many of whom signaled to potential hypocrisy.
“Maybe someone like yourself who shamed the Ozempic use as the easy way out should also apply that to yourself. If it makes you feel good and makes you happy, that’s what matters. So if it applies to you, it should apply to all,” one person wrote.
“Never shamed Ozempic if used the right way,” Danielle clarified. “The issue for myself is there is no easy way out. That’s where my comment came from. Eating whatever you want, taking a pill and dropping a ton of weight is just not normal. If you eat unhealthy then your body will be unhealthy. That’s all.”
Another person seemed to mock Danielle, saying, “Ozempic [is] not ok but plastic surgery is ok. Got it,” along with an eye roll emoji.
“Ozempic is great. Just can’t think of it as a miracle and the only solution. Gotta put in some work, too,” Danielle replied.
Danielle also responded to a critic who mentioned a comment she made to Page Six earlier this month in regard to her thoughts about Ozempic.
As RHONJ fans may recall, Danielle told Ozempic users to “run on a f-cking treadmill” after complaining that diabetic patients can’t get their needed medication due to those using it as a weight loss drug.
“I did. I ran aaaaalot,” Danielle confirmed.
