A Florida woman has been arrested for allegedly raping her husband’s autistic younger brother over a period of ten years. The distressing case took an even more disturbing turn when it was revealed that she had given birth to the victim’s child.
The accused woman has been identified as Amanda Rose Brooks. In June 2022, Brooks reached out to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, claiming that she had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by her husband and his brother. She provided a detailed list of dates and times, along with screenshots of messages with friends that portrayed her as a victim of abuse. Brooks also alleged that she had faced harassment from her husband’s family after leaving with her children.
However, just a month later, the victim’s mother contacted the Sheriff’s Office with a startling revelation. She accused Brooks of assaulting her autistic son for a decade. The victim, in his testimony, described how Brooks would enter his room and initiate sexual acts despite his protests. He claimed that she would silence him, telling him not to disclose the abuse and justifying her actions by saying it made her feel good.
Florida authorities conducted DNA tests on Brooks’ child, born in January, as well as the victim and his brother. The results confirmed that the victim was indeed the biological father of the child.
