Kyle Richards is opening up about her and her husband, Mauricio Umansky‘s, plans for their marriage. As The Shade Room previously reported, the couple denied reports that they were divorcing in July.
However, at the time, Richards did explain that they were experiencing a “rough year” in their marriage.
Since then, Umansky has gone viral after being spotted shirtless while partying in Aspen, Colorado, with Brazilian singer Anitta.

The ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star Opens Up Filming The Show’s Recent Season
The reality star sat down for an exclusive interview with US Weekly published on December 27. Although the conversation primarily focused on Richards’ fitness goals and routine, she also opened up about having anxiety due to showcasing the state of her marriage in the recent season of ‘RHOBH.’
“Sometimes it gives me anxiety, and sometimes it’s OK. It was difficult shooting the season because I was going through stuff in my marriage, but our daughters didn’t know, and I didn’t feel like sharing it on camera quite yet. But I was honest with the [cast]…”
Additionally, Richards explained that she didn’t know how to navigate her marriage “off-camera, let alone on-camera.” However, she appreciates those who have been “sweet and supportive.”
“People were upset when they heard [Mauricio and I] were having problems. I felt like we let people down,” Richards explained while reportedly becoming emotional. “Some were saying [our marriage] was a farce the whole time. But there were also sweet and supportive messages. I didn’t know so many people cared, but they’ve been in my home for 13 years watching us.”
Kyle Richards Details Her Future With Mauricio Umansky
As the interview continued, Richards explained that she felt happy. However, she’s also “struggling.”
“In a lot of ways, I feel happy, but I’m also still struggling because it’s all new to me. I’ve been married my whole life,” the 54-year-old shared.
Richards spoke about the current state of her marriage with Umansky.
“We still live in the same house, and we spent [the holidays] together. I have no idea how long we’ll be like that, but we are trying to be as normal as possible in a very un-normal situation,” she continued.
Furthermore, the reality star detailed what she feels lies ahead in their future. Richards said they attend therapy and want to see each other happy. However, she seemed to imply that they need clarity on that aspect.
“We love each other. We go to therapy. We both want to see each other happy. I don’t know what the future looks like. That’s the hardest part because the unknown is scary,” Richards explained.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Mauricio Umanasky made headlines earlier this month. At the time, footage surfaced of him partying shirtless in Aspen with a Brazilian singer named Anitta.
