Charlie Sheen Avoiding Drama Amid Legal Battle With Neighbor
Sheen is committed to reclaiming respect in Hollywood and is plotting his comeback after battling years of substance abuse.
Insiders revealed that the “The Two and a Half Men” actor is focused on avoiding drama amid an ongoing legal battle with neighbor Electra Schrock, who allegedly confronted him at his Malibu home and tried to “choke” the actor on December 20.
The altercation occurred around 1 pm after a knock at Sheen’s door, with Schrock allegedly rushing into his home and attempting to strangulate him but ripping his shirt instead.
Before the altercation, Sheen had reported provocations by Schrock, including dumping garbage and a mysterious “sticky liquid” on his car. After the incident, Schrock was charged with “felony assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury” but pleaded not guilty, with a $75,000 bail and a restraining order in place, as reported by The Blast.

According to insiders who spoke with the Daily Mail, Sheen remains unfazed by the recent incident and is choosing to channel his energy to “working more again” and “righting the wrongs he has made.”
The source disclosed that the actor, formerly notorious for his partying and temper, “has matured” and is committed to rebuilding his tarnished reputation.
“Charlie is happy and not stressed out over the incident with his neighbor. He is confident with what the cops and court have done so far,” the insider stated.
They added: “Though it was court-ordered that she has to stay away from him, he will do anything the court recommends from this point on to have this be an afterthought. He has enjoyed being away from drama the last few years and he wants 2024 to continue that.”
He Is A ‘Brand New Charlie’ And Wants To Be ‘Respected’ Again
The source shared that Sheen is bent on staging a significant comeback since his last acting stint in a cameo appearance in an episode of “Bookie” in 2017.
They emphasized that the “Scary Movie 5” actor is “focused on his health and working more again and just righting a lot of wrongs he has made through the years.”
“He has matured and would like to be respected in Hollywood again. He doesn’t want to be anyone’s burden,” the source continued. “He just hopes the next time he is in the news is because he did something great and not because of some random attack or outburst.”
“He is a brand-new Charlie and people will realize that hopefully sooner than later,” the insider concluded.
Charlie Sheen’s Struggles Over The Years
Before his recent legal troubles, Sheen openly documented his struggles with substance abuse. The film star who graced the screen of many big productions, such as “Platoon,” “Wall Street,” “The Three Musketeers,” “The Arrival,” and “Spin City” in the ’80s and ’90s also faced legal troubles.
In 2009, the 58-year-old was arrested in Aspen after a domestic violence incident with then-wife Brooke Mueller, leading to a guilty plea for misdemeanor assault.
Once TV’s highest-paid actor for his iconic role in the CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” spanning from its 2003 premiere through 12 seasons until its conclusion in 2011, Sheen’s controversial statements about co-creator Chuck Lorre prompted his dismissal from the show.
