In today’s first news, Taylor Ann Green spent New Year’s Eve with her new boyfriend, Gaston, on a boat in South Carolina.
Over a year after her messy split from Shep Rose, 43, and as her controversial kiss with Austen Kroll, 36, continues to be a hot topic on Southern Charm, Taylor, 28, shared a pic of the two of them as she gushed over how happy she is in her new relationship and confirmed things are “going really well.”
“Bye bye 2023,” Taylor captioned the photo, along with a peace sign emoji.
Taylor’s photo was shared just weeks after she opened up about her romance with Gaston, a roommate of her close friend, Southern Hospitality‘s TJ Dinch.
“I am seeing somebody. I am currently dating, so things are going really well,” she told The Daily Dish. ”I feel very happy and confident. It’s a good feeling to have.”
According to Taylor, she was “looking for a best friend” after her split from Shep.
“I’m just looking for a best friend — somebody to do life with, laugh, have a good time [with], and don’t take life too seriously,” she revealed. “Each day should be just a gift. That’s what I wanted, and just share it with somebody.”
As fans may have seen, Taylor recently enjoyed a getaway with Gaston, having traveled to California with him and several other friends, including TJ and other Southern Hospitality cast members, after BravoCon.
“It’s going to be me, TJ, [Bradley Carter], and [Emmy Sharrett] from [Southern Hospitality], and then we’ve got some other friends, my boyfriend will be there and their roommate and best friend,” Taylor said ahead of the post-BravoCon trip. “We’ve got a place with a hot tub, so I was like, ‘Let’s just relax, because we’re going to need it.’”
Despite her kiss with Austen causing quite a stir on Southern Charm, and ending her friendship with Olivia Flowers, 31, Taylor was recently seen telling her late brother, Richard Worthington “Worth” Green, that she has no regrets about the encounter.
“It’s not like they dated. They were just never anything to begin with,” she declared. “I don’t regret anything. Neither one of them ever claimed to be each other’s boyfriend or girlfriend.”
