Disney+ has released a new TV spot promo for the second season of Marvel’s What If…?. The trailer teases a new Avengers lineup, as well as some formidable new foes. The Avengers crew looks just like the progonal team which first assembled in 2012, except that Captain Carter has replaced Captain Britain, and The Wasp has taken the spot of The Hulk.
We also get to see a slew of villains, including Red Skull, Erik Killmonger, Loki, and Justin Hammer. I’ve also included a clip that previews Nebula and Howard the Duck.
It’s also cool to see Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan looking like John McClane from Die Hard, crawling through the vents.
Check out the new clip below, and get ready to watch What If…? Season 2 on Disney+, with the first episode dropping on December 22, 2023, with new episodes releasing daily on the streamer until December 30, 2023. A third season, as well as a spinoff series based on the Season 1 episode, “What If… Zombies?!,” are also in development.
