A new report reveals that RHOSLC producers were unaware of Monica Garcia’s Involvement With the Reality Von Tease Instagram account. Plus, get your first look at the season 4 reunion.
Entertainment Tonight reports that RHOSLC producers were unaware of Monica Garcia‘s involvement in the Reality Von Tease Instagram account amid theories that producers knew and orchestrated the drama for ratings.
“The casting team and producers were unaware of Monica’s association with the Instagram account Reality Von Tease, and they had no knowledge of the account when she was cast,” a source revealed to ET. “While they were aware of her connection with Jen Shah, they were completely unaware of the information that Heather discovered in Bermuda. Heather’s revelation came as a surprise to the producers, much like the unexpected FBI visit at the Beauty Lab & Laser parking lot during season 2 involving Jen.”
On Tuesday’s RHOSLC season 4 finale, the ladies discovered that Monica was allegedly behind the snarky Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease.
Heather Gay explained that the Reality Von Tease Instagram account was “dedicated to annihilating and exposing” former RHOSLC star Jen Shah before quickly expanding its attacks to her, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and Meredith Marks.
“These were character assassinations,” Heather said of Reality Von Tease‘s posts since the page was created over three years ago. “But we never knew who it was.”
After breaking the news to Whitney, Lisa, and Meredith on the beach, Heather confronted Monica at dinner.
“I know who you really are,” Heather told Monica. “Who you really are is the cyberbully internet troll Reality Von Tease.”
“You are Reality Von Tease. You are an Internet troll. You are a cyberbully. You have been tweeting, undermining, and bullying all of us for four years. You are Reality Von Tease. I have the facts to prove it, and I know texts came from your phone number,” Heather shouted.
Despite her initial denial, Monica then confessed, “That’s not entirely true,” before noting that numerous other people, including Heather’s hairdresser and Jen’s former designer, Koa Johnson, were also responsible for the account.
In her confessional, Monica admitted that she didn’t see Reality Von Tease as a “bad thing.” Instead, she claimed, “I think that’s just telling the truth.”
She also said that the group behind Reality Von Tease had a goal to “take down Jen Shah,” noting that the other women “were just collateral damage.”
Meanwhile, Bravo also recently dropped the trailer for the much anticipated RHOSLC season 4 reunion.
During the RHOSLC finale, Monica teased that there was “more to the story,” which we are hoping comes out during the three-part RHOSLC reunion.
Fans can expect Monica to get a chilly reception from the rest of the RHOSLC at the reunion, as they haven’t spoken to the newbie since Bermuda.
Monica teased that she’s looking to “clear up” a lot during the reunion. And Heather will finally reveal the truth about how Jen Shah gave her that infamous black eye.
