Melissa Gorga shared a series of photos and videos from a “family dinner” with her Real Housewives of New Jersey castmates on Wednesday night from New York City’s Loulou restaurant — but not everyone was included.
After Melissa, 44, and her co-stars, including Margaret Josephs, 56, Rachel Fuda, 32, Danielle Cabral, 38, and Jennifer Fessler, 53, came together for a meal with their husbands, including Joe Gorga, Joe Benigno, John Fuda, Nate Cabral, and Jeffrey Fessler, as well as Frank Catania and his fiancee, Brittany Mattessic, an insider confirmed Teresa Giudice, 51, Jennifer Aydin, 46, and Jackie Goldschneider, 47, were not invited.
“We miss you.. Happy New Year,” Melissa wrote in the caption of a January 3 post on her Instagram page, which featured a slideshow of photos, one of which featured her and the ladies.
In a second pic shared by Melissa, the RHONJ husbands were seen.
Amid the dinner, which Melissa called a “family dinner” on her Story, Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram took note that Teresa, Jennifer, and Jackie were “missing,” as were Dolores Catania, 53, and her boyfriend, Paul Connell.
“Best way to start the year!!” Margaret proclaimed with her own Instagram Story. “Good friends good food endless laughs.”
Brittany also shared a post amid the dinner — a reshare from a video taken by Rachel.
Following the outing, an insider revealed that when it came to Teresa, Jennifer, and Jackie, their presence was not requested.
“They weren’t invited,” a source told Page Six on January 4, stating that the ladies didn’t want “bad vibes” from their castmates. “The group is welcoming 2024 with only good energy.”
As for Dolores and Paul, the insider went on to say that while the couple was invited to the dinner date, they “couldn’t make it.”
According to the report, the dinner was “really fun, positive and joyous.”
“The show was not mentioned one time,” the source said. “The ladies all got along so well, laughing and chatting throughout the evening. Everyone really enjoyed each other’s company.”
“The guys all sat together at one end of the table, while the ladies sat at the other for dinner,” the source continued. “Everyone was making toasts and welcoming the new year as a friend group.”
Following their meal, the RHONJ cast ventured into the downstairs area of the restaurant for a burlesque show before doing some dancing.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime early this year.
