DDG just released a new song called “Darryl Freestyle” and he has again left the internet believing that he and his girlfriend Halle Bailey recently gave birth to a child. From the song, fans believe DDG and Halle have a son named Halo, but DDG says he’s not trolling anyone, he’s just “telling y’all what y’all wanna hear.”

On the song, DDG raps, “Silver spoon kid, I know Halo don’t want for nothing / He crying, his mama coming, she stronger than Wonder Woman / Could’ve let this city chew me up, but I stayed 100 / That’s the main reason when they beef me them n***as plummet.”
For the past few months, DDG and Halle have been swimming in speculation, with fans claiming that the couple secretly got pregnant and gave birth to their first child together. Both parties have either denied or just simply avoided confirming the rumors; but as of late, fans have been calling DDG out for rolling with the narrative and trolling fans into believing that he’s confirmed their theories.

Just last week, DDG hopped on his Snapchat and answered fans questioning him about his relationship with Halle Bailey and if they have a daughter. While speaking on his relationship with Halle, DDG said the couple had just hit their second dating anniversary and that “it’s been lovely.” He called it his “longest relationship” so far, claiming he used to be a 365-day kind of guy and that it’d be over with.
He said, “I’ve never been in a relationship this long in my life. So, it’s a beautiful thing. I never thought that I would get to this point. It’s dope. It’s amazing. And we’re still having fun. It still feels fresh, and that’s what it’s all about.”

DDG then answered one fan who asked, “Do you have a daughter?” He said, “No. Bro, I don’t know why people [are] so invested in what I got going on, or what we got going on. Bro, mind your business. Go outside, touch some grass, bro. Go do a kart wheel in your backyard or something. This is weird. I genuinely don’t be understanding why do y’all be so invested in people that don’t know you. I ain’t gonna lie, I love my supporters and sh*t, but in real life, bro, I don’t know y’all. That’s just the truth, you just got to let me live my life.”
DDG added that his and Halle’s livelihoods do not affect the lives of their fans. He said, “Whatever is going on in my life or her life, bro, is not going to change yours. Best believe, bro. Get in the lab. Go get some money. Let’s focus on ourselves. 2024, let’s try to lock in on ourselves, not other people. Please, mind y’all’s business.”

Since sharing his thoughts on Snapchat, DDG has not only trolled fans with photos of him holding a fake baby doll, but he has now dropped a new freestyle, further fueling speculation, which he says isn’t actually true. On Saturday (January 6), DDG dropped “Darryl Freestyle” and after fans heard his line, “Silver spoon kid, I know Halo don’t want for nothing / He crying, his mama coming, she stronger than Wonder Woman,” they stormed social media claiming the rapper confirmed he and Halle had a kid.
However, hopping back on his Snapchat, DDG told fans that he’s not trolling fans and he’s not getting upset with fans hounding him about these rumors. Responding to one fan who said, “Can you stop trolling? We don’t care no more,” DDG fired back, “If you ain’t care why you ask? I don’t even be trolling, I just give y’all what y’all want. That’s all I do. I just tell y’all what y’all wanna hear and then y’all go with it, and y’all decide whether it’s true or not. It’s up to y’all, man. I ain’t trolling, I’m working.”
Another fan asked, “What was that Halo bar [about in] your new freestyle?” DDG replied, “What bar? Talking about the freestyle I just dropped? I didn’t hear that. I did not hear that bar. Y’all go tell me if I’m tripping.”
