A possible synopsis has surfaced for Marvel Studios Deadpool 3, and it reveals some details about where we find the Deadpool in this next chapter of his story and teases an interesting dynamic with Wolverine.
Marvel hasn’t released any official information on the story for Deadpool 3, so we don’t even know if this is real or not. This brief plot summary comes from industry scooper @CanWeGetToast, and it sheds some interesting insight. The synopsis reads:
“After facing some professional setbacks while going through a midlife crisis. Wade Wilson decides to officially retire Deadpool and becomes a used car salesman.
“But when his friends, family, and the whole world are at stake, Deadpool decides to bring his katanas out of retirement. He recruits an unwilling and wary Wolverine to not only fight for their survival, but ultimately, their legacy.”
It’s previously been rumored that Deadpool ends up being plucked from his reality by the TVA fairly early on in this story. We know the TVA is involved as they’ve appeared in set photos for the film. We’ve also previously heard that Wolverine would be reluctantly joining Deadpool on his adventure, and that is going to make a fun dynamic!
While we’ve seen a lot of set photos, and there have been some interesting rumors about the story and characters that will appear in the film, we have no idea how this story is going to play out. There’s still so much we don’t know about the movie, and I’m excited to experience Deadpool and Wolverine’s wild journey.
The big question is, will Deadpool destroy and make things worse on his next adventure, or will he actually be able to fix it all? Will Deadpool have a happy ending? There is a chance that the events of this movie will completely destroy Fox’s X-Men universe so that Marvel can start from scratch with the X-Men. We’ll just have to wait and see!
