In an exclusive interview with Tamron Hall, Teyana Taylor opened up about what she wants more of in the year 2024.
During the conversation she how grateful she is and how she’s going to allow God to move her in the direction she should be in. “You know what I’m so blessed and I’m so grateful, I’m taking my pace. I’m on my faith walk right now and I’m taking wherever God is taking me. This is the year of trust.”

Tamron Hall then chimed in and asked the singer what did she mean by this year being the year of trust. “You just got to take a beat and say God I trust you,” Teyana added. “That’s what it’s about so of course more peace more love more blessings.”
Lately, Teyana Taylor hasn’t opened all the way up about her ongoing divorce with Iman Shumpert.
When the news first hit the public. Taylor first filings detailed some of the things that went on during their marriage. In the filing she says her ex-husband was jealous of her career. She also added that Shumpert would get mad sometimes when they attend public events and photographers would only want a picture of Teyana. Along with that, the “You’re Gonna Love Me’ singer, detailed how he was allegedly insecure about being her man.
Teyana stated that she initially wanted to keep the divorce private, using initials in the filing, but Shumpert’s recent filing included full names, bringing the situation into the public eye.

Taylor announced their separation in September, clarifying that “infidelity” wasn’t a reason for their departure. She now seeks temporary and permanent primary physical custody of their two children, joint legal custody, and child support, stating that Shumpert left the family home in October and hasn’t spent significant time with their kids since then.
