Office C-Drama My Boss starring Zhang Ruonan and Chen Xingxu is gaining immense popularity among its viewers. As of now, the drama has released 15 episodes. The directors of My Boss are Chen Ming Zhang and Chen Shi Yi. Written by Li Jing Ling, the modern Rom-Com follows the story of Cheng Yao (Zhang Ruonan) who dreams of becoming a top lawyer. She gets very happy when she gets recruited by a top law-firm. She moves near to her office. In her new apartment, she meets Qian Heng (Chen Xingxu), who later turns out to be her boss. Qian Heng is not an easy person to deal with. Soon Cheng Yao’s professional life starts to face turmoil. But she is not ready to back down and is determined to prove her worth.
In the previous episode of My Boss, we got to witness Qian’s soft side when he offered Cheng Yao professional guidance. He also taught her that every human being has basic rights no matter what their crime is. When Qian can’t fall asleep at night, he goes back to his previous apartment to find comfort. The next morning Qian and Cheng engage in friendly banter. Qian teases her about how she had climbed into his bed the previous night and had pushed him out of his own bed.
Previously he also had asked her to come with him on a business trip to a different province. In the 14th episode of My Boss they fly to meet the client, Mr. Tang. Right from the beginning, Qian feels that something is not right about Mr. Tang. The way he talks about women starts to bother him. The way Tang talks to his female employees and keeps staring at Yao Cheng rubs him in the wrong way. But he shrugs it off and decide to proceed with the meeting. We again get to see his soft side when he notices that Cheng is hungry and sends her outside so she can eat something. During the meeting Cheng impresses everyone with her presentation.
After the meeting Cheng and Qian go back to their hotel. When Qian refuses to eat, Cheng tricks him into eating. We can also sense their bond getting stronger.
My Boss Ep 14-15: Zhang Ruonan faces difficulty at work
After getting food together, Mr. Tang calls Yao Cheng to his office. After she reaches there, he sends his assistant outside. Sensing that Mr. Tang has ill intension, Cheng tries to leave. Tang harasses her. Cheng somehow manages to escape the situation and comes to her room. Luckily she had been able to record the whole thing.
When Qian sees her cries, he asks her the reason. But fearing their professional relationship with Tang will get ruined, Cheng remains quiet. When Qian sees the recording, he can not control his anger. He then goes out to teach him a lesson.
