Jason Momoa recently revealed that he lives a nomadic life on the road following his divorce from actress Lisa Bonet.

In an interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Momoa explained that he currently doesn’t have a permanent home and lives on the road, traveling across the United States for his docuseries “On the Roam.” The series showcases his encounters with artisans, musicians, and athletes, offering viewers a glimpse into the unique stories and talents found in small towns. Momoa’s presence often surprises locals, leaving them starstruck and curious about his unexpected visits.
“It happens all the time. They’re like, ‘What the hell are you doing in our hometown?’ I love the idea of just being with everyday people and doing my craft, which is filming, and then showing them. And so, I think through doing that for so long, I got to be curious about it,” the actor continued. Momoa expressed his love for immersing himself in everyday people’s lives and showcasing their stories through his filmmaking craft, as Page Six reported.

The actor’s curiosity about different cultures and communities has been nurtured through his extensive travels, and he is excited to continue exploring new places and meeting new people. Momoa’s divorce from Lisa Bonet was settled amicably, with both parties reaching an agreement about their marital rights and shared property. Bonet requested joint physical and legal custody of their two children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf. The divorce was listed as “uncontested,” indicating that neither Momoa nor Bonet intends to engage in a legal battle.
The couple had been separated for two years before officially filing for divorce; in a joint statement on Instagram, Momoa, and Bonet announced their decision to part ways, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining dignity and honesty throughout the process. Their relationship began in 2005, and the couple married during a secret ceremony in October 2017.
“We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
