Supa Emcee who is mainly known for being apart of Eminem’s “8 Mile” movie is being charged for murder after being accused of stabbing his longtime girlfriend to death.
According to TMZ, Supa Emcee whose real name is Jimmie Brown was reportedly in a 13 year long relationship with his partner Kelly Mays but authorities claim he allegedly stabbed and slashed her nearly 17 times in the neck and chest. According to the report, the alleged incident took place at their Detroit apartment on January 7 and when authorities arrived to the scene they say the rapper fled the scene but later turned himself in the next day.

Mays’ daughter spoke with Fox 2 Detroit about the death of her mother and some words for Supa Emcee. “I hate him now and he is no father of mine. I touched her foot, and it was cold. I have nightmares about it so every time I fall asleep, I see it.” TMZ also reports that Brown is a former veteran who was known on the Detroit rap scene. The rapper got the chance to battle rap against Eminem in the iconic hip hop film but the scene that he was in got downgraded to the DVD.
Mays’ daughter and her sister had reportedly begged the two to leave each other time after time. “Even when they did fight in front of us, he would walk away. The one time we’re not there, he took her life like it was nothing,” her daughter said.

8 Mile is mainly based in Detroit, the hometown of Eminem, who portrays Jimmy in the film. The title of the movie 8 Mile is a road in situated in the suburbs of Detroit called the “Eight Mile Road,” which is also an invisible boundary that separates lower class African-Americans to the south of the road and white people to the north of the road. In the movie, it is depicted that Jimmy lives on the north side of Eight Mile Road and often crosses the road to the south side of the road to hang around with his friends, which is in fact accurate to the real situation in Detroit.
