Not even two weeks into the new year, and Blueface has already found himself back in jail.
On Friday (January 12), the rapper’s manager, Wack 100, took to Instagram with a post suggesting Blueface had been arrested.
Wack100 Revealed Blueface Was Back In Jail
The 44-year-old shared a mugshot of the ‘Thotiana’ artist from 2022, with an accompanying text that read, “Free Blueface.”
Given that Wack didn’t include a caption, fans in the comment section were initially confused about whether this meant Blueface was actually behind bars or not.
That’s when his mother, Karlissa Saffold, hopped onto her Instagram Story, confirming the news to her followers. “Lord you know our hearts. Praying for Johnathan,” she wrote.
Saffold then posted another update, offering more alleged details to fans about the situation that caused her son’s return to jail, hinting at a possible probation violation.
“Jaidyn got him one charge, Rock got him the one that violated the other. That’s why it’s so quiet,” she said. Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis haven’t said a word about their child’s father’s arrest as of yet.
“Praying everyone now understand why I didn’t want them together. Because parents want the best for their children. I love them all but not together. Praying for everyone to listen to their parents,” she continued.

Rock and Alexis, whom Saffold accused of being silent on social media, are allegedly refusing to speak out because of their involvement in the matter that they allegedly caused.
She stressed that if her son had listened to her, they could have avoided his return to jail.
‘”If I’m lying tell them to tell why he in there. Because it all could have been avoided. Especially knowing who he is and that he was on probation when BM #1 threw a glass at security and BM #2 hit a fan. When u with people who love you they don’t get sh** started and then act like nothing happened.”
Video Footage Surfaces Of Blueface’s Arrest
Amid Saffold’s Story posts, video footage surfaced on Twitter of Blueface turning himself in.
In the clip, the rapper was surprisingly all smiles as he made his way to a correctional institution to handle some “mandatory issues.”
According to reports, the probation violation stemmed from his 2022 Las Vegas shooting case, per XXL.
In October 2023, a judge sentenced Blueface to three years probation after pleading guilty to charges related to a shooting in October 2022 outside a strip club.
The LA native was accused of shooting at a man who had reportedly made a joke about his car.
Outside of being forbidden from the downtown area where the incident occurred, his three-year probation also forbids him from any alcohol or drugs.
Additionally, he’s not to possess any weapons during this period or contact the victim.
The judge also ruled that Blueface would have to pay $13 million in damages to SG Enterprises, who operated the now-defunct Euphoric Gentleman’s Club.
The Shade Room previously reported that due to his non-compliance with the agreement, the sum has since increased by $1.3 million in interest.
