Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce reportedly have an “awkward relationship” after Jason’s wife, Kylie, said the pop icon was “not particularly my cup of tea.”
The ‘Red’ artist is currently dating Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, while Jason plays for the Philadelphia Eagles. The two brothers are extremely close off the field, as they host a podcast together and get together as often as possible.
On multiple surprise podcast appearances, Jason’s kids have been seen saying hi and loving on their Uncle Trav, so it is obvious how close the Kelce family is.
So, with the Kelce’s having such a close family dynamic, it would seem that for Taylor and Travis to make it to the end, she would have to also get along with the family.
Unfortunately, it seems things are not going well for Taylor and Travis’s brother Jason, or his wife, Kylie.
Kylie Kelce Seemingly Takes Dig At Taylor Swift
Late last year, Kylie Kelce seemingly attacked Taylor Swift during an interview when she perceived the singer as “not particularly my cup of tea.”
A source is now speaking out, alleging that “Taylor hasn’t had the best reception from Jason and his wife.”
The source told Life & Style Magazine that “Taylor took that [comment] personally and since then it’s been very awkward.”
Jason and Travis have talked about Taylor on their podcast multiple times, but the source is claiming that Jason and Kylie are jealous of the pop icon’s relationship with Travis and how much attention the two are receiving.
“Taylor understands that it can be exhausting, but she can’t help that everything she does becomes front-page news,” the source told the magazine.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been trying to make time for one another as both of their lifestyles consist of busy schedules, but after a while, this can take a toll on some people — and it seems to already be affecting the ‘Love Story’ singer.
“Over the holiday, all Travis wanted to do was focus on football,” the source claimed, which had allegedly left Taylor Swift extremely upset. She “had to take a backseat,” the source told the outlet, “which was really tough. When it comes down to it, the game is still his No. 1 priority and that became crystal clear for Taylor.”
“Things get heated between them at times over scheduling because they’re both so incredibly busy and they’re both so dedicated to their careers,” the source stated before adding, “As much as Taylor can be a fool for love, she never lets her work suffer.”
The Kansas City Chiefs are currently in the NFL playoffs, set to take on the Miami Dolphins in the wild card round on Saturday night.
“If Travis’ team goes to the Super Bowl then no doubt it will be Taylor making the trip to support him, even if it means flying across the world to be there,” says the source. “But once his season is done their agreement is that he’ll start putting in the miles.”
Taylor is getting ready to go on the second leg of her International Eras Tour next month, which is around the same time that the NFL season will end.
