The first trailer has been released for Kristen Stewart’s upcoming romantic crime thriller Love Lies Bleeding, which is coming from A24.
In the film, Stewart plays a reclusive gym manager named Lou who falls hard for Jackie (Katy M. O’Brian, from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, The Mandalorian), “an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Las Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.”
Lou’s father, who is played by Ed Harris, is the head of a criminal organization. As you’ll see, things turn into violent and bloody chaos. The film also stars Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) and Dave Franco (Now You See Me).
The film was directed by Rose Glass (Saint Maud) from a script that she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. Love Lies Bleeding is set to premiere on January 20, 2024, at the Sundance Film Festival.
