Ally Lewber claims she and James Kennedy are “making progress” with his dog, Hippie, formerly known as Graham, despite what Rachel “Raquel” Leviss recently said about James being a poor pet owner.
After Raquel, 29, shaded James, 31, on her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, earlier this week, Ally, 27, took to her Instagram Story for a Q&A with her fans and followers, during which she offered an update on Hippie, showcased her and James’ new song, and shared what she likes best about her Vanderpump Rules star boyfriend of about two years.
“How is Hippie adjusting to living with kitties?” a fan asked Ally on January 9, following Raquel’s podcast episode.
“Currently: He’s looking for Bodhi,” Ally replied, along with a photo of the dog and one of her cats.
“It’s so cute Hippie loves his brothers and just wants to lay,” she continued. “The cats are still warming up lol but we’re making progress.”
Then, when another person wondered, “How much do you love cutie baby Hippie?,” Ally said, “So much I can’t explain.”
As Pump Rules fans may have seen, Raquel targeted James on her podcast on Monday, saying he would often “taunt” and “antagonize” their previously shared dog.
“James was not a good dog owner in the way that James would taunt Graham, and he would just antagonize him. He would pick Graham up off the couch when he was sleeping and not expecting it so that would shock him. He would encourage Graham to bite his hands and it really reinforced that biting behavior with Graham,” she alleged.
As for whether she’d be “singing on any of James’ new projects,” Ally confirmed she’s working on her “own project” before signaling to their new song with Station Little, “I Believe in You.”

Ally went on to reveal that her “favorite thing about DJ James” is “his passion.”
Also during her Q&A, Ally responded to someone who wanted to know if she’s “ever had a normal job.”
“Many!” she stated, revealing that she had a “lot of internships in college,” “worked as a production assistant for movies / TV,” served as an “entertainment journalist / writer,” worked at a “post production house,” and at Soho House, a member’s club in West Hollywood.
“And then many other side hustles like dog walking, organizing, the list goes on … Welcome to living in LA,” she added.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 premieres on Tuesday, January 30, at 8/7c on Bravo.
