Tomorrow sees Wonder Woman #5, going up against the Sovereign, the king of America. But in the back-up strip, we have Trinity, the Wonder Woman of the future, with Damian Wayne, the Batman of the future, and Jonathan Kent, the Superman of the future. So they have seen a lot of future. And are dropping little nuggets of it as they go…
The Old Gods, Lex’s Legion, Brania, President Psycho and the Joker Corps. So we are going to get the return of the gods that the New Gods replaced, like he was going to do in his New Gods movie? Lex has had a Legion Of Doom, has joined the Justice League and is about to inspire a Lex Luthor Revenge Squad. But a Legion? That’s new. Is Brania a female Brianiac? Or just one that’s brainer? Or both? President Psycho could be anyone. And who gave Joker a bunch of Green Lantern rings? That’s never a good idea. The bigger question is how many of these will Tom King pick up himself, and in which book, or will he just leave them hanging around for others to deal with?
