The Tamil actor will portray a never-seen-before character in his awaited movie Thangalaan. The film has already faced a delay in its release, and fans are eagerly waiting for it. Allegedly, the film is set against the backdrop of India under British rule. The actor will play a tribal leader, Thangalaan, in the film who fights the British government as it tries to seize their land for gold mining. The actor is taking up a furious warrior-like role in the movie, and his look is absolutely stunning.
Vikram’s Thangalaan to release in April?
Thangalaan was earlier scheduled to release on January 26, 2024. However, various reports suggested that the makers have postponed the film’s release. As per 123telugu.com, the reason behind this decision is the makers’ plan to send the film to different film festivals.
Now, the makers have officially confirmed the news. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), they confirmed that the movie is still a few months away from its release. While they did not reveal the exact date, they mentioned that the movie will be out in April 2024. The film’s production company, Studio Green, wrote, “History awaits to be written in blood and gold.”
Pa Ranjith is serving as the movie’s director. Furthermore, the cast also includes Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Daniel Caltagirone, among others.
