Niecy Nash-Bett is celebrating her Emmy win by booking a hotel suite, with an indoor pool, and popping champagne with her better half.
The 53-year-old took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a limited or anthology series or movie for her role in the ‘Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’ Netflix show.
She was nominated up against Maria Bello for ‘Beer’, Claire Danes for ‘Fleishman Is in Trouble’, Camila Morrone of ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’, ‘Tiny Beautiful Things’ star Merritt Weaver, and ‘Welcome to Chippendales’ actresses Annaleigh Ashford and Juliette Lewis.
Following her Emmy win, Niecy decided to celebrate by booking a hotel suite and going skinny-dipping with her better half, Jessica Betts.
Niecy Nash Wins An Emmy!
After her name was called during the 2024 Emmy Awards for taking home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a limited or anthology series or movie, she thanked Netflix, Evan Peters, and Ryan Murphy.
“Thank you to the most high for this divine moment,” she said while up on stage. “Thank you, Ryan Murphy for seeing me. Evan Peters, I love you. Netflix, every single person who voted for me, thank you.”
She then went on to thank Jessica Betts “who picked me up when I was gutted from this work. Thank you.”
“And you know who I want to thank? I want to thank me,” the actress added, “And I want to say to myself in front of all you beautiful people, ‘Go on girl with your bad self. You did that!’”
Following the awards show, Niecy Nash decided to celebrate her win by going skinny-dipping in a hotel pool.
“YOU’RE A WINNER, BABY, and always will be,” she captioned the video, in which she was seen in the hotel pool without any clothes on. The iconic song, ‘Celebration’ by Eumir Deodato and Kool & The Gang played in the background.
“We are celebrating this Emmy win by going skinny-dipping in an indoor pool,” the actress said while holding up her award. “And have some champagne,” she said with a huge smile on her face.
