According to recent legal documents obtained by TMZ, Doja Cat’s mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, has filed for a temporary restraining order against her brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini. In her filing, she makes serious allegations of physical and verbal abuse.
Doja’s mother claims that Doja herself has been a victim of Raman’s violence, stating that he has knocked out her teeth and caused cuts and bruises. Additionally, she accuses him of destroying and stealing Doja’s property. The documents also mention that Raman is allegedly verbally abusive towards his famous sister, using degrading and demeaning language that has left Doja feeling unsafe and traumatized.

Sawyer also claimed she is a victim of domestic violence as Raman has physically abused her as well, threatening her on multiple occasions over the past year. The most recent incident occurred earlier this month. In response to these claims, the judge granted Doja’s mother court-ordered protection from Raman until a hearing for a permanent restraining order takes place.
However, the same protection was not extended to Doja Cat, as the judge stated that she would need to file her request for a restraining order. So far, Doja Cat has yet to release a statement about the allegations.
