Lisa Hochstein is one of the most talked about cast members from The Real Housewives of Miami. Much of the discussion happens to be the result of her separation from Lenny Hochstein and her relatively quick rebound with Jody Glidden.
Now, Lisa is opening up about being happy, forming a friendship with Jody’s ex-wife, and how she feels about the backlash from her RHOM co-stars.
For context, Lisa and Lenny announced their separation in May 2022. Insiders say she got with Jody in July of that year, but she didn’t confirm the new relationship until February 2023. Regarding Lenny, he began dating and got engaged in July of the same year.
According to US Weekly, Lisa does want to get married again. However, she has fears of it not working out.
Lisa had this to say, “I do [want to get married again.] I don’t know. Yes and no. I just don’t like all of the bad stuff that comes along with divorce. We’re good right now.”
Of course, Lisa couldn’t legally get married yet as she is still married to Lenny. Their divorce process has been pretty messy, with quite a few social media posts coming from her, Jody, and Lenny.
She continued, “I don’t want to be engaged or married until I’m [divorced]. You’re not legally allowed to be married to two people.”
She even discussed Jody’s ex-wife with the publication. She said, “She’s wonderful. She’s great. We’ve been on vacation together with our children.”
Lisa also said that they invited Jody’s ex over to celebrate Christmas. She then gushed about her new love, saying, “My entire life, actually, I’ve never quite had a relationship like this, so that’s great. He’s great with my kids and his daughter. Our family is expanded. He’s just so very different [from] what I’m used to.”
She also discussed the backlash she has received from her RHOM cast members. She said, “I’ve had a lot of backlash, like, ‘Oh, who is Jody? Why is she jumping into this relationship so fast?’ But you got to remember, this was months and months down the line that I entered a relationship with Jody. We didn’t become serious until months and months later. So, I didn’t just jump into a relationship. And if you find the right person, why would you throw that away? A lot of these women on the show are looking for what I have found, so I don’t understand that.”
