Academy award-winning actor Ke Huy Quan has joined the action movie With Love that is being developed at Universal Pictures, produced by David Leitch and Kelly McCormick’s 87North (Bullet Train, The Fall Guy).
Jonathan Eusebio, a longtime 2nd unit director and stunt coordinator whose recent credits include Violent Night and Obi-Wan Kenobi, is set to direct the film in his theatrical feature debut. While plot details are under wraps, it’s been confirmed that Luke Passmore is writing from an original script by Josh Stoddard (Warrior, Kaleidoscope) and Matthew Murray.
Quan has a lot of options these days after making the career comeback of a lifetime, winning the Oscar for his role in Everything Everywhere All at Once. He recently appeared in the second season of the Disney+ Marvel series Loki. He also reteamed last year with Everything Everywhere co-star Michelle Yeoh on the Disney+ series American Born Chinese, and will be seen coming up in the Russo Brothers’ adaptation of acclaimed graphic novel The Electric State for Netflix.
