She expressed her shock and pain, emphasizing that knowing the name, address, and workplace of the person involved made the situation even more emotionally challenging. The weight of this betrayal pushed her to a dark place, leading her to take an overdose of pills.
The 71-year-old recalled, “He always, always had groupies and I was so used to that,” Sharon said, according to the U.K. newspaper The Mirror. “But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work … it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills.” She continued, “So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,” she said. “The maid tried to come in to clean room and saw me.”

Following the revelation of Ozzy’s affair, the couple faced a challenging period. However, they chose to confront their issues head-on. Ozzy sought treatment for his sex addiction, and the couple eventually reconciled. Their decision to renew their wedding vows in Las Vegas on Mother’s Day in 2017 symbolizes their commitment to rebuilding their relationship and finding a new beginning.
Ozzy has previously spoken about his infidelity in the past interviews. He shared regrets about cheating in a 2020 interview with British GQ.
“I’ve done some pretty outrageous things in my life. I regret cheating on my wife. I don’t do it anymore,” he said. “I got my reality check and I’m lucky she didn’t leave me. I’m not proud of that. I was pissed off with myself. But I broke her heart.”
While speaking with Hello! Magazine, the reality star, who shares daughters Aimee, 40, and Kelly, 39, and son Jack, 38, with Ozzy, went on to admit, “I made a huge mistake. Without Sharon, I am nothing. I love her. I can honestly say that I have never loved anybody other than my wife.”
