Keke Palmer will not have a restraining order placed on her by Darius Jackson’s brother, a judge has ruled.
Sarunas Jackson, who is the brother of Palmer’s ex-boyfriend Darius, applied to have a restraining order placed against the Nope star and her mother, Sharon, last week.
In the filing, made on January 19, Jackson accused Palmer of making false accusations against him, according to Page Six.
He said the actress/singer “has made foul claims that I have sexual abuse claims on me when I do not. I have never done such a thing. She has gone to the media & has used her celebrity to publicity lie on my family & myself.”
Sarunas also wanted Palmer to be unable to speak about him and his family and kept 150 feet away from him at all times.
Per Radar Online, however, a judge denied the request for a temporary restraining order.
A date has been set in February where Jackson can present his argument for a permanent restraining order.
Keke Palmer previously filed for a restraining order against Darius Jackson after she accused him of physical abuse during their relationship.
A court granted her the temporary restraining order, which required Darius to stay away from her and their 11-month-old son Leo.
In the filing, Palmer detailed several violent incidents, including one from 2022 where she alleged Jackson “slammed me on the floor and slapped my head from side to side” in their bedroom.

“The next morning, he was standing at the bottom of the stairs near the front door, screaming at me as I was coming down the stairs,” she added. “When I was almost at the bottom of the stairs, he grabbed me around the neck and body slammed me back onto the stairs.”
Palmer also included footage of an alleged attack by Jackson in early November, where she claims he “grabbed” her neck and face.
In turn, Darius then filed for a restraining order against Palmer and claimed she was abusive towards him in their relationship.
He claimed that the 30-year-old actress admitted to hitting him and becoming verbally abusive after drinking alcohol.
The estranged couple are currently attempting to settle their case in arbitration rather than court, with Palmer seeking full custody of their son.
