DeChambeau, who joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf in 2022, had been engaged in a public feud with Koepka. The golfing world was taken by surprise last summer when the two rivals were pictured smiling together in a photo posted on Koepka’s Instagram page.
“This league,” wrote Koepka in the caption of the photo taken on the green. Currently, he is the captain of LIV’s Smash GC team, consisting of Talor Gooch, Jason Kokrak, and Graeme McDowell.
