Boosie, 41, is catching some heat as his 28-year-old alleged fiancée, Rajel Nelson, blasts critics for calling the rapper her sugar daddy and highlighting their 12-year age gap. Nelson recently went live and stated that she met Boosie, aka Lil Boosie or Boosie Badazz, at 18, started talking to him at 21, and then began dating at 24.
Nelson, who is an actress, model, and social media influencer from New Orleans, Louisiana, has been linked to Boosie, born Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., for many years now. The two were first linked as a couple online as of 2019/2020 and Nelson has even been featured in a few Boosie music videos as well.
As recent as a few weeks ago, the two made headlines over reports of Boosie wanting a judge to lift a no-contact order between him and Nelson because they reportedly are planning to get married. On January 14, legal affairs journalist Meghann Cuniff reported that the Louisiana rapper pleaded with U.S. District Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo in his felony firearm case.

Cuniff said that the rapper has been prevented from contacting his Nelson since he was arrested on felony firearm charges back in June 2023. At the time, authorities detained Boosie while he was in San Diego after he was spotted in the presence of a firearm while on Instagram Live.
In his petition to the judge, Cuniff reported that the rapper motioned to reestablish contact privileges with his alleged fiancée, as they were planning a wedding. He reportedly wrote that his nuptials were set for April 1, 2024, and added, “Me and my fiancée was having a wedding. Do I need to set it back?”
Reportedly, the judge said if “a singular event” is set to take place while the no-contact order remains, he can “certainly ask for the court to allow communication.” Meanwhile, prosecutors reportedly “vehemently” opposed allowing Boosie and Nelson to have communication.

A week later, Boosie’s alleged fiancée Rajel Nelson began trending after a video resurfaced of her denying claims that Boosie is her sugar daddy. The clip is from a December 2022 interview Nelson did with DJ Smallz Eyes. In the clip, Nelson speaks about meeting Boosie at 18 while working at an IHOP and she addresses their age gap, which is a difference of 12 years, 4 months, and 25 days.
Days later, Nelson has taken to her Instagram Live, where she claps back at critics still calling Boosie her sugar daddy and highlighting their 12-year age gap. In a clip from her stream, Nelson said, “I met him at 18 and I started talking to him when I was 21, and I been dating him since I was 24. This is the person who I’ve been with all my twenties. Let’s talk about how many relationships you wh*res have been in all y’all life. Y’all come on here messing with me for messing with somebody that’s older than me, but who cares?”

While agreeing with users in the comments about the age gap, Boosie’s alleged fiancée said, “Exactly, age don’t matter. There you have it. Nobody’s perfect. Y’all keep talking about what he did. ‘He did this, he did that.’ Which man do y’all know is perfect? Please tell me. Y’all h*es get cheated on f***ing day and ain’t get nothing out the deal. Let’s talk about it. Your dad was cheating on your mama, but your mama still stuck with your dad. Let’s talk about it h*es. Y’all always try to make it seem like y’all life is perfect.”
Nelson continued, “A lot of y’all grandparents and grandmothers — y’all don’t want me to say or hurt y’all feelings — was f***ing around with people older than them. So, just stop it … Y’all keep trying to talk about me dating somebody older than me, but y’all keep failing to realize, we didn’t become boyfriend and girlfriend until I was 24. I didn’t start talking to him, having conversations with him, until I was 21.”
