Monica Garcia may not have been asked back to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for the series’ upcoming fifth season, but that doesn’t mean fans have heard the last of her.
On Tuesday night, amid the conclusion of the three-part season four reunion special, Monica, 40, took to her Instagram page with a series of photos of herself holding her infamous “Burn Book” against her castmates. She also teased the potential publishing of a new book while also reacting to fans who spoke of her firing.
“Might publish a book. What, like it’s hard?” Monica wrote in the caption of her January 23 post.
“FINAL EPISODE TONIGHT and I cannot wait to hear all your thoughts!!” she added.
After sharing the post, Monica was met with tons of reactions from her fans and followers, some of whom responded to the news that she would not be a part of season five.
“Worst decision Bravo ever made!!” one person exclaimed. “Why would they get rid of the Queen who saved the franchise??? [You] just might be [two] shades too dark for [RHOSLC] But I definitely would buy [your] book Mama!!”
In response, Monica shared a couple of pink heart emojis with her fan.
Another person begged, “[Please] tell me the reports aren’t true.”
And in a comment, Monica left the person an emoji with two pink hearts.
On Tuesday, following the news of Monica’s departure from the RHOSLC cast, rumors began swirling in regard to two potential newbies who may be replacing her: Britani Bateman and Meili Workman.
Although not much is known about the women and their potential roles quite yet, Britani’s Instagram bio describes her as an “actor, singer, and entrepreneur” who works at Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, and Meili’s states that she is a model in Utah and a “Happy Juice dealer.”
No word yet on when The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season five will go into production.
