Reps for pop star Britney Spears are denying that she was banned from the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles after swimming topless in the hotel pool.
Although she is no stranger to removing her clothes on social media and public beaches out of the country, the pop star’s team has insisted that she never took her clothes off or exposed herself at the pool.

Reps for Britney Spears have denied a report that the “Toxic” singer was banned from the Four Seasons in Los Angeles after she took off her bathing suit to swim topless in the hotel pool. Sources told the U.S. Sun that the 42-year-old pop star had guests complaining about her “bizarre behavior” at the family-friend hotel, which is located only minutes away from her $14 million mansion in Thousand Oaks.
Insiders said that she frequently visits the establishment for a spa and beauty retreat, as the hotel boasts a huge indoor pool as well as spa facilities that offer massages and other beauty treatments. Although Britney has been going there for years, it seems that she has been “temporarily” banned after giving staff a “headache.”
Britney Reportedly Made Other Guests Feel ‘Uncomfortable’
“Britney has been going to the Four Seasons in Westlake Village for years, but she’s been causing a headache for staff recently,” one source told the publication. “In the past year, she’s been banned from the hotel, unbanned, and is now banned again. Some guests have complained about her going topless by the pool and making them feel uncomfortable, and her behavior is often bizarre and annoying.”
“Staff have talked about it throughout the whole hotel and it’s really unfortunate, but she’s not allowed on there at the moment, certainly not the spa,” the source continued. “Britney might be an A-list celebrity but she can’t run around doing whatever she wants at the Four Seasons. It sees a lot of high profile guests and rich guests checking in who spend thousands there, whether it be for a business trip or leisure and they don’t want to be made to feel awkward.”
Although Britney’s reps said that the story was “not true,” the Four Seasons did not return requests for comment.
Britney Spears Was Reportedly Banned From The Hotel In 2008
As the publication reported, Britney Spears was banned from the hotel in March 2008 after complaints from both guests and staff. To keep her away from the hotel, the hotel staff even enlisted the help of local law enforcement officials to draw up a legal “notice of trespass.”
One report claimed that she ranted “Do you know who I am? I f—ing built this place. I’ve spent so much money here I could have bought the God—- hotel.” Britney was placed under a court-ordered conservatorship in February 2008. It lasted for approximately 13 years and was struck down by a judge in November 2021.
Britney Has Yet To Finalize Her Divorce From Sam Asghari
Months after her conservatorship ended, Britney tied the knot with Iranian actor Sam Asghari. The two met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. They married in June 2022 but the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor filed for divorce last August citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Even though the 29-year-old actor signed an ironclad prenup before the divorce, sources told Us Weekly that he is looking to get more money out of the former pop star. “Sam feels he should be compensated properly for everything he went through with Britney,” one insider told the magazine. “The exact amount he wants is being kept confidential, but he’s not happy with what Britney and her team have proposed.”
“There’s a lot of wrangling back and forth. Things have become a lot more complicated than both of them had hoped it would be,” the insider continued, noting that any settlement is now “stuck in limbo” as the two let their respective legal teams hammer out the details of the divorce.
“Britney is in no mood to be pushed around or rushed into signing over another huge check to Sam,” the source said. “She wants to stick to the letter of the paperwork and feels that’s all he’s entitled to, period.”
