Caroline Manzo Sues Bravo, Alleges Sexual Harassment by Brandi

Caroline Manzo has filed a lawsuit against Bravo, Peacock, its production company, and its showrunners.

She is accusing the groups of encouraging Brandi Glanville‘s alleged sexual harassment against her amid filming on the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season four in Morocco.

According to the 62-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey alum’s court documents, she feels that the networks and those employed by them prompted Brandi, 51, formerly of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, to engage in “sexually offensive and harassing content.”

“Defendants, including Bravo, regularly ply the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, cause them to become severely intoxicated, and then direct, encourage and/or allow them to sexually harass other cast members because that is good for ratings,” the lawsuit, obtained by Page Six on January 26, states. “Caroline Manzo is a victim of those harmful actions.”

While Caroline accused Brandi of forcing herself on her without consent, kissing her, and going as far as to “[mount] her,” the former RHONJ cast member is not suing Brandi over the supposed “traumatic” behavior. In fact, she actually signaled to posts shared by Brandi on X, formerly known as Twitter, to back up her case against Bravo, Peacock, and the other parties.

According to the report, Caroline is suing for “negligence, sexual harassment, sex/gender discrimination, sexual battery, and other causes” that violate laws in both California and New York.

“We are outraged by Bravo, Peacock, and NBC’s conduct and look forward to having the issues decided by a jury. Sexual harassment should never be entertainment!” Caroline’s attorney, Derek Smith, told Page Six in a statement.

Due to the many claims made in regard to what went down during filming on RHUGT season four, a premiere date has yet to be set. And, although it has yet to be confirmed, many believe the episodes will never make it to air.

As for Brandi, she recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the drama of RHUGT, making similar statements to those shared in Caroline’s lawsuit.

“I think the [RHUGT] shows are the wild west. They don’t know what [they’re] doing yet. We can’t work 19-hour days and be fueled with alcohol all day,” she said. “No, they don’t force you but they want you to and you want to please the producers. I think that you know when we’re all exhausted and we’re doing 20 events a day working 19 hours, fully wasted it’s not a safe environment for any of us and that’s what the [RHUGT] are.”
