RHOBH OG Lisa Vanderpump shares her thoughts on Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s shocking separation.
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump is sharing her thoughts on Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s ongoing marriage issues. She also reveals if she would ever rekindle her friendship with Kyle.
Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards were the best of friends on the early seasons of RHOBH but their friendship ended during season 9 when Kyle confronted LVP about possibly being behind the leaked Puppygate story involving co-star Dorit Kemsley.
Since then the two have been busy living their own lives and both have made it clear that they have no interest in rekindling their friendship.
According to Lisa, her friendship with Kyle has been over for long at this point that any hope of a reconciliation has long passed.
“I think that ship has sailed,” Lisa Vanderpump shared on Thursday’s episode of TODAY with Hoda and Jenna.“I think she knows how I feel. I’ve been very honest about that.”
However, Lisa noted that she did recently run into Mauricio Umansky at a taping for Dancing with the Stars.
“Now, I have seen Mauricio,” LVP shared. “I saw him at Dancing With the Stars, so I kicked him in the a–.”
Speaking of Mauricio, Lisa also noted that she feels incredibly sad for him and Kyle amid their separation.
“I felt very sad for her because I know Kyle really held her marriage very close and near,” she said. “I t was very, very important to her, and she always kinda gave me the impression of everything being perfect whether it was or wasn’t. I think it’s a shame, I really do. I hope they find their way back to each other.”
After reports of their separation first arose in July, Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their separation in September. The two are taking things “one day at a time” and have not discussed divorcing. They are currently cohabitating in their Encino mansion and are in couple’s therapy.
