Lisa Hochstein‘s divorce from Lenny is pretty messy and has been for a while. Of course, much of the drama has played out on the Real Housewives of Miami. Both have made unfortunate claims about each other in public. However, perhaps the most damming claim from the pair is her saying that he was physically abusive to her. Of course, he denies it, but it seems he wants to take enhanced measures to clear his name.
As fans know, Lisa and Lenny announced their separation in May of 2022. Both parties have moved on, and Lenny is even engaged despite their divorce not being finalized.
According to Radar Online, Lenny is now seeking a gag order against his estranged wife. He calls her accusations of domestic violence false and says she is tarnishing his name for higher RHOM ratings.
Lenny is using their court-ordered Status Quo Order as a basis for the gag order. According to their agreement, they are both prohibited from inflicting “physical, verbal, or any other form of harassment of the other.” He feels that her allegations violate the order.
The court documents also say, “Specifically, Wife has falsely alleged in the most public manner possible, by and through her unfettered use of social media platforms such as Instagram and through the gossip website, www.pagesix.com, and on television shows, that Husband has physically abused her in the past and has further falsely and suddenly asserted that she has been the victim of domestic violence perpetrated against her by Husband several months ago.”
It’s continued by saying, “Wife’s allegations are patently false, perhaps motivated by Wife’s need for attention and/or by her desperate need for content for her tabloid television show, ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’, or better ratings to keep disinterested viewers engaged in the happenings and mis-happenings of Wife’s life.”
Not only has he recently sued her for defamation, but he is also threatening to stop paying the 17k a month towards her rent. Of course, her boyfriend, Jody pays the rest.
Lenny also alleges that he has suffered “quantifiable financial losses to his plastic surgery practice and med spa business which are unjust, unprecedented and totally unnecessary due to Wife’s public campaign of false and defamatory statements and broadcasts.”
We’re sure this isn’t the end of the drama between these two.
