Crystal Kung Minkoff addressed her social media shade toward Dorit Kemsley, said “no one” is jealous of Annemarie Wiley’s life, and claimed she called out Erika Jayne at the recently filmed reunion.
She also shared her “hope” that Kathy Hilton – who shares a tumultuous relationship with sister Kyle Richards – will return to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season.
“[Kathy] always has a future [on RHOBH],” said Crystal in an interview with E! News. “Everybody loves Kathy, so I really hope she comes back.”
She then addressed her recent shade toward Dorit, who called her a “child bride” to her husband, Rob Minkoff, who’s 20 years older.
“I usually don’t clap back on social media,” said Crystal. “But when you take it too far — meaning my marriage, Rob … I’m going to protect him. And so yeah, that’s what happened and I feel very good about it.”
What does Crystal think of Annemarie’s suggestion that Crystal is jealous of her career in the medical field?
“She sort of blurs the line that I’m jealous cause I was very clear I wanted to go to medical school, become a surgeon and she went to nursing school,” shared Crystal, laughing as she said the word ‘nursing.’ “That’s who she is. And no one’s jealous of Annemarie’s life.”
According to Crystal, Annemarie “seems to welcome” the social media tensions with the American Society of Anesthesiologists. “It’s almost like she’s asking for it,” she said.
The star also reacted to Erika calling her out over the diamond earring controversy. Last season, Crystal and her co-stars questioned whether Erika should give the jewelry to husband Tom Girardi‘s former clients, from whom he allegedly embezzled money.
“I asked her [about this] at the reunion. I still don’t have an answer,” said Crystal. “Cause I thought, you know, there was a few of us that asked the same questions. And I said, ‘Why did you ask me specifically,’ and there was no real answer.”
Smiling, Crystal declared that she’ll watch The Housewife and The Hustler 2 – a documentary about Tom’s alleged crimes.
