LCD Soundsystem Announce 2025 NYC Residency Run at Knockdown Center

Breakthrough artist Volaris has kicked off the new year with his biggest release yet, “Close To You,” the inaugural track on his newly established label, HORIZN. It’s a synth-driven narrative unfolds in just under six minutes, spotlighting Volaris’ distinctive style—a fusion of scintillating synths paired with raw energy, emblematic of his rising prominence. Additionally, a Simon Doty remix is promised on February 15.

Volaris’ new label HORIZN is a collaborative venture with industry powerhouse The Circuit Group. This partnership signifies a significant leap for Volaris, aligning with a label that holds master and publishing rights to over 3000 songs, amassing more than 5 billion combined streams and earning 8 GRAMMY nominations.

Nathan’s transformative journey into Volaris is marked by distinct musical projects, a battle with cancer, and the embrace of fatherhood. This evolution culminated in the creation of Volaris, a testament to his relentless pursuit of challenging conventions within the electronic music landscape. Recognized as one of Dancing Astronaut’s Artists To Watch in 2023, Volaris substantiated this title with releases on prominent platforms such as Experts Only, mau5trap, Purified Records, Sola, and Armada, along with captivating performances at esteemed venues worldwide.

To coincide with the release of “Close To You,” Volaris announces a special live stream event in February, hosted at Defected Records’ London venue. This live stream serves a dual purpose—showcasing Volaris’ music while fundraising for Addenbrooke’s Hospital, a crucial institution in his personal battle against cancer. Volaris expresses the significance of using his label as a platform to give back to those who provided support during challenging times.
