Kandi Burruss is opening up about her future on the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’

Kandi Burruss Shares A Major Announcement
According to Variety, Burruss appeared on the GRAMMYs red carpet on Sunday, February 4. During the appearance, the 47-year-old spoke exclusively with the outlet.
Burruss was asked how she was “keeping up” with all of the talk and updates regarding the reality show.
“I’m not really keeping up right now,” she said. “I’m not keeping up.”
From there, Burruss went on to share a huge update.
“I already said it, so I’ll tell you. I decided I’m not coming back this year,” she continued. “It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long.”
Burruss explained that during that downtime, she began working on “a lot of other things.”
“But during that time, I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those things,” she explained.
The 47-year-old ultimately explained that having more downtime allowed her the space to think about why she keeps returning to the show. Watch her full sentiments below.
According to the outlet, it’s been speculated that ‘RHOA’ producers will soon unveil a new cast. Additionally, only a few of the show’s previous members are believed to return.
Furthermore, BRAVO TV reports that the season 14 cast included Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Shereé Whitfield, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross.

The Reality Star Recently Opened Up About Her Biggest Job
According to Variety, Kandi Burruss joined ‘RHOA’ during its second season. Additionally, Burruss was reportedly the longest-serving cast member. Despite her role, however, Burruss’s job as a mother to four children has always taken priority.
“With Riley, it’s always been a constant conversation to just talk about the fact that you just cannot care what other people think of you. You’ve got to build up that tough skin, and she is really tough,” Burruss explained while appearing on ‘Stepping Into The Shade Room’ for an episode release in March 2023.
At the time, Burruss also shared the values she hopes to instill in her kids as they grow.
“I want them to all have that work ethic, have that drive, belief of self, know that they can do anything. And just know that we always have their backs,” she said.
