Playboi Carti‘s fashion choices have left Popcaan and many others confused as they try to make sense of why he dresses the way he does.
The Atlanta rapper was spotted hitting the studio with Kanye West on Monday (February 5), rocking a one piece mesh top that becomes a thong when buttoned at the bottom. Even though the images that have been making the rounds online show the top unbuttoned, people on social media didn’t hold back from sharing their thoughts — this is most evident from the comments section of Akademiks’ post of said shots.
“Yyyyyyyyyy,” Popcaan wrote, while others chimed in with comments such as, “Looking like a jamaican warlord named ofuofu,” “Bro fighting his demons and they winning” and “Bro Think He In Tropic Thunder.”

Playboi Carti and Kanye were also spotted shooting a video the day before, with the latter being photographed wearing two creepy masks at once, both of which were inspired by classic horror films.
The Yeezy boss, who was in a car with wife Bianca Censori, was wearing a Michael Myers rubber mask with a Jason Vorhees-style hockey mask over it. Carti and actor/model Luka Sabbat were also in the car.

The crew also reportedly stopped by the birthday party for Travis Scott‘s children, 6-year-old Stormi and 2-year-old Aire, although it’s unclear if Kanye wore the scary masks to the bash.
While further details about the video shoot are unclear, Playboi Carti is expected to appear on Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign‘s upcoming album, Vultures Volume 1, on a song called “Fuk Sumn,” which also features Quavo.
While on stage at a recent Travis Scott concert, Kanye also confirmed that Vultures Volume 1 — the first of three installments — is still set to arrive on February 9 after several delays. As of now, Ye and Ty plan on release the next two parts on March 8 and April 5, respectively.
Travis also took the opportunity to give his longtime mentor and collaborator his flowers, hailing him as “the greatest of all time.”
“I wouldn’t be here on this stage without my brother, man,” he told the crowd. “He opened up these doors for me. Make some noise for the greatest of all time.”
