An official Dungeons & Dragons VR game is currently in development, and it’s coming from Resolution Games, who is collaborating with Wizards of the Coast. This will be the first VR game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe and I’m excited to see what exactly it ends up being.
Unfortunately, there are no details on to share regarding the story or a timeframe for release. Resolution Games is best known for producing Demeo, a TTRPG inspired game that featured both dungeon exploration, turn-based tactics, and deck-building.
The new D&D game adds to the slate of future D&D video game releases. There are several other studios working on D&D projects, including Hidden Path Entertainment and Starbreeze Entertainment. Wizards of the Coast is also working on a VTT project for actual Dungeons & Dragons play.
