Bill Maher recently revealed that has a two-hour interview with Kanye West on his “Club Random” podcast but refuses to release the content because of West’s views when it comes to the Jewish community.

“I thought it was going to be a learning moment,” Maher said while speaking to TMZ on February 5. “We were here for two hours. By the way, we had an amazing, fun time,” Maher added. “He’s a very charming antisemite. And by the way, he’s not the only one in America who feels that way. It’s not like the Jews are universally loved except for Kanye West.”

TMZ did a whole documentary asking people like Bill Maher, The Game and Angela Yee if cancel culture will ever come for Ye … and the answer is a resounding “NO” — for several reasons.

During the conversation with the news outlet, Maher spoke about how feels about Ye. “The problem, I think, is that he appeals mostly — of course he’s a rock star — to young people. They don’t know much and they surely don’t know much about the Middle East or Jews. So the combination of Kanye out there — I feel like he was helpful for spreading the fertilizer, and I do mean fertilizer, for this idea that Israel and the Jews are the worst people in the world.”

“A lot of people were thinking what he was thinking, but in Kanye’s case, the fact that he’s saying it out loud gives other people permission to say it too, right?” TMZ founder Harvey Levin asked. “Yes, exactly,” Maher said. “That’s why I wouldn’t air that episode because I’m not going to contribute to this.”

In recent years, Kanye West has made headlines for his eccentric personality and controversial statements. Among these comments, his remarks regarding the Jewish community have raised eyebrows and sparked intense discussions.

To fully comprehend Kanye West’s comments, it is essential to consider the broader context of his statements. Given his tendency to make sweeping generalizations and controversial remarks, it is crucial to approach his comments with caution. It is worth noting that Kanye West has previously faced backlash for his comments about various communities, suggesting a pattern of provocative speech.

Kanye West’s comments regarding the Jewish community have undoubtedly caused distress and hurt among many. The remarks were widely condemned for promoting stereotypes and perpetuating harmful narratives. Organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) expressed concern and called for dialogue to address the issue. Kanye West faced significant backlash, with critics arguing that his words added fuel to the fire of racial and religious tensions.

Following the controversy, Kanye West issued an apology to the Jewish community, acknowledging the insensitivity of his remarks. He expressed remorse and claimed that his intention was not to offend or perpetuate stereotypes. However, for some, the apology was met with skepticism, as it was not the first time Kanye West had made controversial remarks without facing severe consequences.

Kanye West’s comments on the Jewish community highlight a broader issue within society: the danger of perpetuating stereotypes and the importance of responsible speech. Public figures, such as Kanye West, possess significant influence, and their comments can shape public perception. It is crucial for individuals in positions of influence to consider the potential consequences of their words, especially when it comes to sensitive topics such as religion, ethnicity, or race.
