Now, despite the initial awkwardness, Saweetie confidently defended herself and showcased by dropping some of her accomplishments and moving forward with grace.
Right from the beginning, Sharpe referred to Saweetie as “the one who used to date Quavo,” a comment that caught the rap star completely off guard. In response, Saweetie questioned the label and expressed her disappointment, asking, “That’s all I got?” She then proceeded to list her numerous achievements, reminding everyone that she is more than just someone’s ex. Of course, Mr. Sharpe’s line of questioning didn’t stop there, as he went on to talk about the possibility of a reunion between Saweetie and Quavo. However, Saweetie confidently shut down any speculation, stating, “I don’t really spin the block.” Sensing the tension, Ochocinco attempted to intervene, but Saweetie was quick to recognize the situation, humorously remarking, “Oh, we got ‘Club Shay Shay’ today.”
Looks like Saweetie didn’t lie as she hasn’t also circled the block with rapper YG. The two were an item for a couple of months before recently calling it quits.
Interestingly enough, one of the most intriguing aspects of the interview was Sharpe’s reference to rumors of Quavo repossessing a Bentley he had allegedly gifted Saweetie. Saweetie denied getting rid of the gift and laughed off the question. When pressed further, she playfully challenged Sharpe, saying, “Come on. Now you know what happened.” Saweetie then revealed that she had purchased herself a luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan, emphasizing her independence and success.

As we previously reported, the Migos rapper and Saweetie called it quits in 2021. Later that year there were reports that he had the repo man come scoop the Bentley that he gifted her. On Friday (June 11), the Quality Control Music crew dropped their highly anticipated album, Culture III. On the effort, there’s a track with Quavo, called “Having Our Way,” in which Quavo hints at retracting the luxury gift he gave to an unnamed woman. He rapped, “She had it her way, now she out of a Bentley (Skrrt)/(Skrrt, skrrt, get out, ooh).”
Well despite that unfortunate situation and the uncomfortable line of questioning on the show, it’s clear Saweetie does not back down from anything.
